The paper examines the distribution of the diurnal frequency of
occurrence of magnetic substorms for a number of geophysical phenomena
determined by the penetration of solar particles into the magnetosphere.
It is shown that the frequency of occurrence of substorms increases at
2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 19, and 22 hours MLT.
