Current problems in space-chemistry are examined, with emphasis on Vernadskii's ideas. Particular consideration is given to the isotopic and chemical heterogeneity of primordial matter in the solar system, the chemical heterogeneity of planets as possibly originating in the protoplanetary nebula, types of planetary cores, and the geochemical differentiation of planetary matter.
