The Doppler instrumentation described was used to study the dynamics of the ionosphere along the path between Fort Collins (USA) and Havana (Cuba) during May through September 1975. Based on reception of WWV signals, the instrumentation will record simultaneously the Doppler shift at two frequencies (5 (or 15) MHz and 10 (or 20) MHz). Some observations of characteristic ionospheric disturbances are reported including the influence of a solar flare; geomagnetic disturbances; wave processes; and regular frequency variations during sun rise.
