N-Body Problem: Relaxation, N-Body Problem: Chaos
Scientific paper
The authors analyse in detail the origin of some controversial points concerning the relationships between the chaotic behaviour of dynamics and the relaxation properties of Hamiltonian systems with many degrees of freedom, showing that most claims existing in the literature and applied, in particular, to the N-body self-gravitating systems, are, at least, unjustified.
