The Fokker-Planck equation for the early time is used to analyze the transport of energetic charged particles in fluctuating magnetic fields for the period when the diffusive modes are not yet valid. Exact solutions are found for the particle fluxes integrated over space. The analysis is performed for both a constant and a divergent mean magnetic field. After a finite time, a time-independent final steady state is attained, and the usual diffusive modes of the velocity-integrated density become valid.
