Coherent solution of the problem of magnetic survey, based on integrating the geomagnetic field gradient, is theoretically justified. The sources and the ways of minimization of the method methodical errors have been determined. The theory of magnetic measurements on the run is developed, and the prerequisites for increasing magnetic survey accuracy are created.
