THE ratio of the equivalent source temperatures as deduced from
observations of solar electromagnetic radiation for frequencies of 80
Mc./s. and 175 Mc./s. (T80/T175) by Ryle and
Vonberg1 would appear to have considerable significance to
solar as well as radio physicists.
