Photoelectric Astrolabe-Solar Diameter-Solar Physics
Scientific paper
We point out advantages in using the Chinese photoelectric astrolabe
Marks I and II for measuring solar diameter. Two practical schemes are
put forward and simulation calculation has shown that an accuracy of
0.1'' can be achieved with either to measure the solar diameter while
the single image scheme has a higher accuracy.
