The Einstein observations for the 2CG 135 plus 01 region are examined as a mini-survey of the galactic plane, and more particularly a coverage of the COS-B error box. The 2 CG 135 plus 01 area has been covered with six IPC fields and two HRI fields. Five IPC sources were detected in three one deg sq fields, and subsequent identifications placed them as main-sequence G-type stars, the quasar 0241 plus 622, an SAO star which was classified as F 4 - percent V, and the B1 star LSI plus 61.303. The results are regarded as consistent with previous findings for the coronal emissions of nearby stars, while the Fx/Fv ratio of the variable radio star GT 0236 plus 61 LSI plus 61.303 indicates a binary configuration.
