We study the impact of leading soft-collinear effects on threshold and
joint-resummed calculations for the production of prompt photons via parton
fragmentation, complementing a previous study for direct production. We assess
these effects for both fixed-target and collider kinematics. We find them to be
small, but noticeable and comparable to the direct case.
