Using a method previously published, the sodium and potassium contents of nineteen chondritic meteorites, sixteen achondrites, and two carbonaceous chondrites, and the olivine from four pallasites, have been determined. The latest group of chondrites show the same total spread of values indicated in the previous publication. 90 per cent of all sodium values for chondrites lie between 0.60 and 0.76 per cent and potassium between 0.072 and 0.096 per cent. The olivine from pallasites is very uniform in alkali content with K 0.009-0.011 per cent and Na 0.04-0.05 per cent. The achondrites have quite variable sodium and potassium contents.
