We report Sm-Nd data on the Piplia Kalan eucrite. We obtain isochrons
which yield a 147Sm-143Nd age of 4.57+-0.10 Ga, initial
(143Nd/144Nd)CHUR = -0.71+-3.6 eu, and initial 146Sm/144Sm = (4.4+-1.2)
* 10-3. Some discrepancies in short-lived dating systems are discussed.
