Simultaneous events are spatially separated events connected by an infinite velocity signal. The author traces the cause of the non-simultaneity to the position-sensitive term in the Lorentz time transform, and shows that this term is not supportable by properly designed experiments, by the construct of Lorentz equations, and by the established behavior of satellite clocks.
