We compare the properties of the jets of a nearby Seyfert (3C120,
z=0.033), the nearest high luminosity quasar (3C273, z=0.158), and a
typical, more distant quasar (4C19.44, z=0.720). For each of these
jets we consider the apparent and inferred sizes, luminosities, and
spectral energy distributions for spatially distinct components.
Inferences regarding emission processes and constraints on jet physics
will be considered.
