A new instrument, GriF", has been used on the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope to record spatially and velocity resolved images of the core of the Orion Molecular Cloud (OMC1). GriF combines Fabry-Perot interferometry with PUEO adaptive optics, [1]. Using the H2 v=1-0 S(1) line at 2.121μm, diffraction limited spatial resolution of 0.''15 and velocity discrimination as good as 1 kms-1 has been achieved in the brighter regions. This work is reported in detail in [2].
