Shell Stars: Line Profiles, Shell Stars: P Cygni Profiles

The paper presents a new CCD profiles of the shell star 48 Lib, a well-known variable Be star. The lines reveal the shell star 48 Lib with a global shell. By carefully analyzing the profiles of the lines, the author concludes the result of the star as follows: probable 9.69×10-5Msun of the shell mass, 49 stellar radius of the shell's thickness, about 7.7×10-5Msun/yr of the wind mass-loss-rate, 309 km/sec of the radial wind velocity and 350 km/sec of rotation velocity.
