The regions of the radio spectrum at which SETI should be conducted are
considered. The regions of the radio spectrum which are unavailable to
SETI because of dedication to other uses are identified, and the problem
of interference in other bands is addressed. The potential role of
government regulation in assisting SETI is examined.
