Scientific paper

The paper proposes linear and correlation algorithms for the detection
of radio emission from pulsars observed on a background of broadband
noise. The efficiency of the algorithms is illustrated by the example of
the detection of a signal from the pulsar 1919+21 on a background of
intense noise.
