The pure vibrational transition frequencies of magnetically trapped cold XH molecules are useful to detect the variance in the proton-to-electron mass ratio β (X: alkali-earth atom). This paper compares the buffer gas cooling efficiency and accuracies of the vibrational transition frequencies for different XH molecules. 9BeH transition appears most advantageous for the detection of variance in β.
