Semiperiodic pulsations in Cir X-1 with previously reported suspected or possible periods of 0.685 and 2.2 s have been studied on the basis of HEAO A-1 data. Fourier analysis of several scans indicates a possible period near 2.5 s. However, it is shown that strict periodicity does not fit the observed intensity variations. The possibility is noted that a characteristic delay between burst occurrences may sometimes give the appearance of periodicity.
