Supersymmetry, Supersymmetric Models

Scientific paper

Since November 1995, LEP has been operated at centre-of-mass energies up to s=183 GeV. These are the highest energies ever attained at an e+e- collider providing an unique opportunity to search for new particles. Searches for supersymmetric particles have been performed using the data samples collected at these centre-of-mass energies. Searches for R-parity violating decays of supersymmetric particles and searches for long-lived heavy charged particles are also described. Model independent limits on the production cross-sections and exclusion plots in the context of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model and in the context of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking theories are presented.
