Results are reported from a search for water-vapor maser emission in the direction of 187 selected IRAS sources. All these sources have color indices typical of IR sources that were previously found to be associated with water masers. Only eight new water masers were detected above the detection limit of 0.5 K (20 Jy). For three of these associated OH maser emission was found. No associated methanol masers were found.
