One of the main LHC goals is the discovery of the Higgs boson. The most
promising channel for a low Higgs mass is H → γγ. In
this paper we will discuss the problematic, such as the background
rejection and the analysis methods, and see what is the discovery
potential of this channel in ATLAS.
