By using neutron multiplicity detectors, neutron emission from the samples of the Saratov, Efremovka and Allende meteorites has been measured. An activity has been detected which exceeds the background due to spontaneous fission of uranium. The possible relation of the activity observed to spontaneous fission of superheavy elements and anomalies in the Xe content of the meteorites is discussed.
