Observations aimed at the search for optical afterglows of gamma-ray bursts are carried out with the 2-m telescope of the Terskol Observatory. We describe a~method for such search and analysis of the data. The method was devised to obtain limitations to the~magnitude of optical objects. The limitations obtained for six optical afterglows of gamma-ray bursts are presented.
