We discuss Schrödinger's approach to gravitational interactions and
Weber's electrodynamics. Then we make use of this model to calculate the
energy of a charge moving inside and outside an ideal capacitor. This
results in an ultimate speed, c, and in the variation of the mass of the
particle with the electrostatic potential and its velocity.
