The scattering of a plane electromagnetic wave in the gravitational field formed by an ensemble of point masses lying in a plane is investigated. The variation of the second moment of the gravitational field is calculated, as is the Fourier transform of this quantity used to find the scattering diagram. The geometric optics approximation can be used for wavelengths much shorter than the gravitational radii of the individual masses.
