Methods of shortest-time satellite search with a narrow-field telescope are developed on the basis of the theory of search planning for cyclically moving objects and the concept of search-plan equivalence. The probability distribution of the satellite position may be prescribed or arbitrary. These methods make it possible to realize the most favorable conditions of signal-energy integration in the case of a significant a priori indeterminacy of the velocity vector.
