The absorption line spectrum that appeared in CH Cyg in 1979 is described. Parameters of the region of the shell in which the spectrum is formed are obtained from an analysis of spectral data obtained during 1981-1982. These parameters include the excitation temperature, the microturbulence velocity, the electron density, and the effective width of the spectral formation region. A comparison with the atmospheres of normal stars shows that the conditions in this region correspond to the atmosphere of a B9-A1 Ia supergiant.
