We investigated the Sachs-Wolfe effect induced by superhorizon-sized true vacuum bubble perturbations. As with the (ad hoc) example of a superhorizon-sized isocurvature perturbation, we find that extended inflationary (EI) true vacuum bubbles can produce an observable dipole and smaller multipole moments of the cosmic background radiation. However, due to the small filling fraction of superhorizon-sized bubbles for viable EI models, we find that the probability of generating the observed dipole is at most 10-4.
