The nature of the high-velocity emission components observed in the Balmer line wings in the spectrum of RS Ophiuchi still remains unknown. Using high and medium resolution spectra acquired between 1994 and 2006 we tried to extract these components from the Hα profile and measured their radial velocities and equivalent widths. Here we discuss the long term behaviour and the origin of the high velocity emission components in the context of jets and/or centrifugal outflows.
