We report the discovery of a SN candidate, ROTSE3 J125708.9-172527, in unfiltered CCD images taken on March 08.53 UT at about 17.6 mag with the 0.45-m ROTSE-IIIa telescope at Siding Spring Observatory, Australia. The transient was detected again on March 09.53 (at mag about 17.5) and March 15.51 (mag about 17.6) from ROTSE-IIIa, and also, on March 16.10 (mag about 17.5) and March 16.89 (mag about 17.4) from ROTSE-IIIc telescope at the H.E.S.S.
