A perturbation wave solution of the Robinson-Trautman equations is
proved to be a perturbation of the Schwarzschild black hole which
describes an outgoing axial gravitational wave and corresponds to a
special case of Chandrasekhar's algebraically special perturbation of
the Schwarzschild metric.
