The response of a live disk-halo target system (mass ratio 1:2) to collisions with an intruder of 0.4 of the target mass is investigated using a 52,000 - body simulation. The resulting ring and arc structures are discussed. Results are compared with a fixed halo. Coupling between the live halo and disk is investigated. The "fold ring" phenomena is discussed in relation to Vela.
