Planetary Systems: Formation, Protoplanetary Disks: Models
Scientific paper
The accumulation process in the formation of a planetary system is
examined on the basis of the previously proposed so-called drop model of
a protoplanetary disk. The solution of the equation of coagulation
theory is used to carry out the analysis. The physical effect of ring
compression of material in the protoplanetary disk is shown to be real.
