Scientific paper

A critical analysis of the existing representations on gradient solitons
is given. Noncorrectness of the previous results of the theory of
oblique drift wave solitons is explained together with the theory of
short-wavelength drift wave solitons. New nonlinear equations for
corresponding types of waves are obtained.
