Two of the seven Cenozoic age calibration points in the widely used Cande and Kent's geomagnetic polarity time scale have recently been revised. The rest of the five calibration points are revised here based on recently available radioisotropic dates and magnetostratigraphic data. Ages of the magnetic reversals are recalculated using the revised calibration points. Differences between the present time scale and Cande and Kent's revised time scale are generally less than 0.3 m.y., the largest (up to 1.3 m.y.) being in the early Miocene.
