We have recently discovered a massive molecular outflow immersed in G331.5-0.1, in the Norma arm tangent - the largest massive and dense core of a GMC known in the galactic disk. The outflow is unresolved at a resolution of 7.7". We propose here to undertake high angular resolution molecular observations in the SiO(2-1) line, in order to reveal the morphology, physical properties and kinematics of the massive molecular outflow, and in the H13CO+(1-0) line, in order to determine the physical characteristics and kinematics of the innermost part of the associated massive and dense molecular core.
