The interpretation of Germanium detector searches for Cold Dark Matter (CDM) is revised in the light of realistic expectations about the galactic halo composition and density. Experimental bounds are relaxed on heavy Dirac neutrinos, especially in the cosmologically important mass region mν ~ O (1-10) TeV. Particles in this range of masses remain experimentally unbounded, yet tantalizingly close to the present sensitivity of ultralow background Ge detectors. Searching data for modulations characteristic of CDM could lead to unequivocal detection.
