A one-dimensional analysis of the quasilinear relaxation process is made of the electron fluxes produced as a result of fast local heating. The initial stage of the process is investigated by the perturbation method. The subsequent relaxation process is investigated by numerical simulation. It is shown that the main effect determining the flux relaxation is the kinematic effect of the spreading of electrons in the space due to their different velocities. Quasilinear diffusion under the influence of plasma turbulence gives rise a local "plateau" on the top of the distribution function at each point of space without an essential growth in velocity spread. Results obtained are compared with type III solar radio bursts observations.
