This paper presents a brief critical analysis of General Relativity Theory(GRT). It is shown that the theory, if accepted, leads to repudiation of anumber of fundamental principles underlying physics. The article alsopresents the construction of Relativistic Theory of Gravitation (RTG) inwhich the gravitational field possesses all the attributes of physicalfields and which concurs completely with the fundamental physical principlesas well as with the available experimental and observational facts. We alsoconsider the consequences of RTG dealing, in particular, with thedevelopment of collapse and Universe evolution.
