Relativistic shocks are pervasive in violent astrophysical scenarios. These shocks are collisionless and the dynamics can only be fully understood via kinetic simulations. We present three-dimensional PIC simulations results for relativistic electron-positron and electron-proton shocks in unmagnetized plasmas, obtained with OSIRIS. The shocks are either formed by a relativistic numerical piston or from the collision of a moving plasma shell with a background plasma. We demonstrate, in 3D, shock formation due to the electromagnetic beam plasma instability, near equipartition magnetic field generation, and particle acceleration with a power law dependence consistent with the astronomical observations.
