The frequently observed decimeter-band quasiperiodic variations of the apparent positions of type-III solar-radiation bursts are examined. It is shown that they can be associated with the propagation of wave disturbances at atmospheric altitudes. The disturbance parameters are evaluated by comparing calculated and observed variations of burst-source positions. Procedural recommendations for coordinate measurement are given.
