Solar Protons: Solar Radio Bursts, Solar Protons: Solar X-Ray Flares

The correlation between solar proton events and radio bursts or soft
X-ray (SXR) flares is analysed. The statistical results indicate a
positive exponential correlation between the peak fluxes of proton
events and the peak fluxes (energy fluxes or duration) of radio bursts
or SXR flares.
