ENSO (El Nino Southern Oscillation) phenomenon is known by the SOI (Southern Oscillation Index). The variation of solar activity indirectly affects the variation of SOI. This investigation found that the package of monthly sunspot variation which is modulated in the 11 years sunspot cycles have an identical periods to SOI, which are approximately 3-4 years, approximately 6-8 years and approximately 30 years. The package of monthly sunspot variation can be interpreted as a solar output energy which occurs in that periods which affects the air pressure difference between the southern Pacific and the continent of Australia which is expressed as SOI.
