We examine the spectral properties of a suite of binary mixtures
containing hydrated magnesium sulfate mixed with varying proportions of
Fe, Mg, or Al-smectite. Our results will aid in interpreting CRISM and
OMEGA spectra of hydrated mineral deposits.
