Recent radio continuum observations of the galactic center region made at Cambridge, Westerbork, and Bonn are reviewed. The maps show considerable fine structure in the sources G1.1-0.1, G0.9+0.1, G0.7-0.0 (Sgr B2), G0.5-0.0, G0.2-0.1, and G359.4-0.1. The observations of Sgr A confirm the general division into two sources: (1) a thermal component of diameter 45 in. which surrounds the galactic nucleus, as defined by the maximum surface brightness at 2.2 microns, and (2) a nonthermal component of diameter 150 in. which may be a supernova remnant. Five sources smaller than 10 in. are found within a5 ft x 5 ft field centered on Sgr A. A radio source of angular diameter 0.1 in. may be the actual nucleus of the galaxy.
