The author gives the directions of the group velocities for waves of various frequencies in a plasma in which only electrons are warm. He shows that there is a plasma wave propagating near the resonant region of the wave in the corresponding cold plasma. The electron wave can link up with the ordinary or the extraordinary wave. This makes waves capable of propagating in a broader range of angles than in the corresponding cold plasma.
