A particularly strong gamma-ray burst, GB 881024, was observed with the APEX experiment on board the PHOBOS-2 space probe. A preliminary estimate of its fluence is greater than 0.001 ergs/sq cm. High resolution time-to-spill time histories and energy spectra were recorded, setting lower limits to time scales for GRB variability. Spectral features include a 0.03 s duration low-energy cutoff and lines at 520 keV and 820 keV.
