Low-frequency Jovian radioemission (40-0.1 MHz) is characterized with attention to spectral distribution of activity, probability of occurrence, dynamic spectral properties, and polarization of emission. Topics considered in the review of physical processes include the coupling mechanism, the instability mechanism, and wave propagation in the Jovian plasmasphere. Spacecraft studies of the radioemission are surveyed.
